Chemistry Department’s Unique Program at Nagoya University Open Campus
Don’t miss this valuable opportunity!
As many of you may know, the first Nobel Prize in Chemistry of this century was awarded to Professor Ryoji Noyori, a distinguished professor at our university who has long led the field of organic chemistry. In addition, the discovery of the fluorescent protein GFP, which revolutionized modern life science research, led to the award of the 2008 Nobel Prize in Chemistry to Professor Osamu Shimomura (who obtained his degree in our chemistry department). I believe that the Chemistry Department at Nagoya University is one of the world’s leading research organizations, capable of stimulating people’s intellectual curiosity and conducting research that deeply inspires, in such a free and open environment.
Currently, the department is conducting cutting-edge research in various fields, providing a fertile ground for challenging the forefront of chemistry and focusing on developing talents that can be internationally active in a well-equipped facility.
This program offers a very valuable opportunity to get to know such cutting-edge research. By directly hearing from current teachers and active students, I’m sure you’ll feel inspired to conduct research in such a setting. Please join us and feel the atmosphere. We will cherish the opportunity to connect with all of you who participate and continue to advance.
