Associate Professor Akiko Yagi (Organic Chemistry Laboratory) has been awarded the 39th “Inoue Research Award.” Congratulations!

This award, organized by the Inoue Science Promotion Foundation, is highly prestigious, with only up to four recipients selected through initial public solicitation each year.

It serves as significant encouragement for researchers and is expected to inspire further achievements in the future.

The award-winning research focuses on the “Synthesis and Application of Poorly Soluble Functional Polymers.”

Inoue Research Award:
This award aims to support the originality and independence of young researchers striving for innovative development in fundamental research in natural sciences. It is open to researchers affiliated with national, public, and private universities as well as university joint research facilities who have obtained a doctoral degree in natural sciences and have less than nine years of research experience post-Ph.D. (including planned affiliation).

Recipients, based on their previous achievements, are recognized for their promising research and are awarded the Inoue Research Award, which includes a certificate and a research grant of 5 million yen per recipient.
