[For 1st Year Science Students] Announcement of the Chemistry Department’s Introduction Program “Exchange Meeting with Current Students” (11/22 (Wed) 13:00~)

◆ Purpose of the Event ◆

First-year students in the Faculty of Science will soon be selecting their majors for their second year based on the “Department Assignment” system.

At this time, you may have many simple questions such as not knowing much about chemistry or the chemistry department, what the learning and research environments are like, what kind of professors are there, what is the distance like with professors, what kind of student life awaits after being assigned to the chemistry department, and whether you have any worries about your career path and future.

This event is not about the department’s representative professors giving an overview and answering questions, but rather it provides an opportunity for current graduate students who are in a more familiar position to talk openly with students in a small group, delve deeper into topics, and share anecdotes, in order to convey the true appeal of the chemistry department. Through this opportunity, we hope you can eliminate any anxieties about the chemistry department and envision your future career path more clearly.

No advance registration or registration is required. Entry and exit are free. There is no limit to the number of participants. Faculty and staff will not be participating (although you may receive advice from a faculty member who happens to stop by).

Please feel free to join us with your friends. We look forward to welcoming many participants.
