A paper by Professor Ryoji Noyori and others, along with the entire Chemistry Department, has been honored with the Historical Chemistry Paper Award!

Professor Ryoji Noyori (Special Professor at Nagoya University) and the late Professor Kenichi Fukui (Kyoto University) have been awarded the “Citation for Chemical Breakthrough,” the first time this award has been given to Asian researchers by the American Chemical Society.

The “Citation for Chemical Breakthrough” is an award given by the American Chemical Society to papers that, even after 25 years since publication, continue to shine and have made significant contributions to human development.
